One of the key highlights was the incredible support from Raytown Mayor Michael McDonough and the Raytown Chamber of Commerce. Their presence and involvement were not only uplifting but also demonstrated the unity and care within our local leadership for our youth. The Mayor’s special appearance energized the crowd, reinforcing the importance of coming together to support education and future leaders.

We were also thrilled to have the Chamber of Commerce actively participate. Their backing was invaluable, helping us connect with local businesses and volunteers who contributed to the event’s success. Their support wasn’t just about promoting the event but fostering relationships with vendors and partners who share our vision of empowering the next generation.

This year, we exceeded last year's number of empowerment backpacks doubling our impact by giving out 70 backpacks and raffling four exclusive Infinity backpacks designed by my 9-year-old son. The joy on each student's face as they received their backpacks made all the planning and hard work worth it!

The event was made even more memorable with a live DJ, food, and The Pod’s fun-filled educational activities. None of this would have been possible without the backing of our partners, donors, and volunteers. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made the Extravaganza a resounding success.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and continuing to build this community-driven effort to ensure every student starts the school year empowered, prepared, and confident.
